Magnificent XIIth and XVIth century castle, built by Lord Jocelyn d'Arey in 1120, when he became one of the knights od the Duc os Burgundy. Sir Jocelyn fought during the crusades but his name vanished because he had no son. His daughter Isabelle married Guy II de Toncy and he became the new lord of Vault de Lugny.
The long history of this chateau, gives to its guests the idea of how it was like living in the past century in a fortified castle.
Charme and elegance are everywhere in the chateau that has been opened in 1986 as a luxury hotel with personalized services and fine and comfortable rooms.
It is also ideally situated in the heart of Burgundy, one of the regions that produce the finest French wine. |
