"Villa Mauresque" was built in 1860 by Chapoulard, the architect renown for his Moorish villas in the Côte d'Azur.
Its two magnificent villas, "Les Jardins" and "Le Palais" are situated in a beautifully manicured garden of over an acre. With its private port and boat house and lapped by the waves of the Mediterranean, the Villa Mauresque is ideally situated for its guests to go sailing, water-skiing, scuba-diving, canoeing, kayaking.
This property, due to its location and its historical importance, is one of the few listed properties in the Côte d'Azur which is open to the privileged few who seek comfort, calm and luxury.
Two magnificent villas situated right on the sea-front, between Cannes and St Tropez, on the French Riviera: Villa Les Jardins and Villa Le Palais both with gorgeouse view over the Mediterranean Sea and the gulf of St Tropez in the distance.
Villa "Les Jardins": the rooms are dedicated to famous writers and provide both comfort and luxury.
Villa "Le Palais": the rooms are dedicated to famous painters and provide refinement and exclusive comforts.
As it is a very charming and special resort Villa Mauresque does not have in room tv (but it can be requested as an extra) nor minibar (a lovely bar is available nearby the pool) nor in room telephone.

Just 30 minutes from Cannes and St Tropez, right between the two, Boulouris is a small village on the sea front in Provence, 5 minutes from St Raphaël. Perfect for water activities in the summer and only 2h from the alpine ski slopes in winter. Boulouris is blessed with many good restaurants and numerous sandy beaches interspersed with secretive rocky creeks. It is close to the volcanic Estérel Massif with its impressive reddish rocks and hills unknown to most tourists.
By Train • St Raphaël-Valescure TGV train station is 3KM away. • Boulouris local train station is 800m away.
It is possible for the villa Mauresque to provide transport to and from the train station.
By Airplane • Nice airport is 60 km away (45mins). By car : follow Cannes, join the motorway A8, Exit at St Raphaël then follow the instructions indicated for motorists (by car) • Marseille airport is 90km away (1h30). By car : follow Aix-en-Provence, join the motorway A8 direction nice, exit at St Raphaël/Fréjus, then follow the instructions indicated for motorists (by car) • Toulon airport is 60km away (45mins). By car follow nice, join the motorway A8, exit at St St Raphaël/Fréjus, then follow the instructions indicated for motorists (by car).
By Car: Take the A8 motorway, take the exit “St Raphael /Frejus” (D37), follow signs to “St Raphael/Frejus Centre” then “St Raphael Quartiers” then “St Raphael Centre Ville” then “St Raphael Bord de Mer”.
The road will fork, take the right to “St Raphael Port Santa Lucia”. At the next fork, take the right again and follow the signs to the Casino. You will go past a port, carry on along the coastal road and you’ll get to another port, the Port of Sta Lucia.
At the round-about, go straight. The Villa Mauresque is 2.5 Km from this port. The road will slope up and down, and on your right you will see a blue CERS sign. 500 metres on you will see the Villa Mauresque, on the right, a cream coloured crenelated building. If you go past the restaurant Le Toukan, you have gone too far!
By Taxi: It will take 45 mn and between 100 and 150 € just one way.
