Sales Conditions

The statements which follow stipulate the general sales conditions of which Hotel Seleciton Reservations must abide by.

INTRODUCTION PREMISE

Our job is to provide our customers up to date information and access to luxurious Hotels, Chateaux and Riads through our online reservations for our world wide structures. It is important that you read and understand these conditions before using Our Services. In accessing and using Our Services, you accept to have knowledge of these conditions, which are subject to change during the course of time. These conditions are applicable to all of the tourist websites of our Company: www.riadselection.com, www.riadselections.com, www.chateaux-selection.com, www.greece-selection.com, www.tunisaselections.com.
In our websites, our company is limited to being an intermediate between the users of our web pages and the structures affiliated with us.
The information description provided for each structure has been provided directly by the structure. We always do our best to provide you with the most accurate and up to date information possible but, at the same time, we can not guarantee you the exactness of all the information provided on our websites neither can we guarantee you an error free website.

ARTICLE 1 - SUBJECT

The legal office of Hotel Selection Travel Agency by Travels Selection Corporation is located at: Via Argentina 8, 30024 Musile di Piave, Venice, Italy.
The present documents determine the rights and obbligations of both parties regarding the sale of products and services in the Website www.chateaux-selection.com.
The General Sales Conditions constitute the total rights and obbligations of both parties.

ARTICLE 2 - APPLICABLE RIGHTS AND DISAGREEMENTS

The present contract and following acts respect and are represented by Italian Laws.
In case of conflicts arising from misinterpretations or from infulfilments of the agreements, the representatives will pledge themselves to resolve the situation in a friendly manner.
In the event that an agreement can not be met, the dispute will be resolved in the Courts of Venice, regardless of the number of people or guarantee calls.
Which ever type of contestation and complaint regarding your stay at the choosen structure represented in the website, will be reported directly to the structure, seeing that Travels Selection operates solely as an Intermediazione Agency.

ARTICLE 3 - PRICES

The prices indicated are in Euro and include Taxes. These prices have been negotiated by the suppliers and Hotel Selection.

ARTICLE 4 - PAYMENT FORM

The customer must indicate, during the reservation, his credit card number along with the expiry date.
The accepted credit cards are Visa and Mastercard/Eurocard.
The deposit amount to be paid for each reservation varies with the agreements made between Hotel Selection and each individual structure. This amount is always specified in the request confirmation sent to the customer by email from Hotel Selection.
Finally, to confirm the reservation, it is sufficient to pay the deposit amount and the balance will be paid directly to the selected structure at arrival. In some rare cases, it is necessary to pay the full amount of the journey before arriving at the structure.
The debit made to the credit card will be effectuated once the structure confirms the availability of the rooms. No amount will be debited in case we can not satisfy the customers request nor in the case of non availability at the chosen structure.
The cost of the customers stay during the period that the customer has requested, is the one indicated by Hotel Selection snc on the confirmation voucher for the reservation.
The cost does not include transfers to and from the stations, airports or other terminals.
All of our prices are indicated in Euros.

ARTICLE 5 - RESERVATIONS

The customer, after having confirmed by email his interest for the offer sent by the Staff of Hotel Selection, will receive another email with a recap of the reservation requested. Also, there will be a payment link which could be accessed through our protected payment system (SSL) which allows the customer to pay the deposit amount agreed upon by credit card.
During this payment, when the customer clicks on the “Send” key (only after having given their banking information and having read the sales and cancellation conditions) this will state that the customer is unequivocally committed to the agreement.
The customer must therefore comply to all the sales and cancellation conditions stated in the Travels Selection Website.

ARTICLE 6 - RESERVATION CONFERMATION

The reservation is considered concluded once the account payment has made successively by credit card.

The reservation will be confirmed by the sending of a Travel Voucher from Hotel Selection. Once received the Voucher the reservation will be definitely concluded and the customer commits himself to respecting the sales and cancellation conditions read and accepted at the time of payment.

If the customer does not receive an email 12 working hours after having sent his reservation request, we ask that he send another email to info@travels-selection.com stating again his name, dates of travel and structure selected.
The confirmation Voucher sent to the customer by Hotel Selection substitutes all other documents and states all the information concerning the reservation along with the name, address and phone of the chosen structure.
The Voucher serves as a guarantee. The customer must present this Voucher to the Structure upon his arrival.
The deposit amount requested depends on the agreement made between Hotel Selection and the individual structure. This amount is always specified in the email confirming availability and at the time of payment.

ARTICLE 7 - CANCELLATION

Each structure has its own cancellation policy applicable at the time of the reservation. For this, we ask that you attentively read all of the conditions before effectuating a payment. These conditions are binding once the reservation is made. In case of a cancellation we strongly advice you to contact our Staff immediately in order to minimize the penalty fees.

When a reservation is cancelled in time by the customer, we will reimburse the deposit amount less our administration fees which are indicated in the cancellation policy for each structure. Also as specified in the website of the structure and in this present document, it is possible that an additional fee will be debited (Cancellation Penalties)
When a cancellation penalty is applied, it is based on the policy of each individual structure, Hotel Selection in obliged to debit the customers credit card for the payment of the penalty in which they are subject to for the cancelling of the reservation
Hotel Selection will then credit the amount to the chosen structure in question.

ARTICLE 8 - DOCUMENTATION RESPONSIBILITY ON WEB SITE

All of the pictures and descriptions furnished in the web-site are supplied directly and with approval of the establishment who is clearly responsible for the pubblished advertisement.
Hotel Selection is responsible for promoting the structure via its Web-Site but is not in anyway responsible for the text or photos pubblished in the individual site of the structure.

ARTICLE 9 - VISA

It is the customers responsibility to verify all of the customs, sanitation and police formalities for the country in question of visiting.
The customer must inform himself with the local Consolate or Embassy of the pertaining country if a Travel Visa is required before entering the country in question.

Hotel Selection can in no way be held responsible in the event of refusal of the Travel Visa or Transportation Tickets. Therefore, if you cannot present youself at the suppliers destination due to refusal of the Visa or for any other travel annulment motive, you will not be re-emborsed.

ARTICLE 10 - SECURITY

The web-sites of Hotel Selection are safe and secure in that Hotel Selection has implemented a SSL Security System.

ARTICLE 11 - EXEMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY

Through the use of Our Services, you accept to respect all the applied laws, articles and rules applicable to Our Services. Hotel Selection will not resume any responsibilities regarding these matters.

We limit ourselves to act as intermediate between you and the chosen structure and for this we do not have any way of controlling the quality and services or eventual charges to be paid to the structure during your stay. We are in no way responsible of any disputes between you and the structure concerning fees, services provided and any other matter.
Notwithstanding this, the stated above general conditions are in no way limited in regards to the Laws governing the Consumers Act nor do we intend to exonerate or limit the responsibility of the structure in the case of a death or personal damages caused by the negligence of the Structure.

ARTICLE 12 - LAWS AND JURISDICTIONS

The contract stipulated between the customer and Hotel Selection is governed by Italian Law and is subjected exclusively to Italian Courts and Jurisdictions.

ARTICLE 13 - ARBITRATES CLAUSE

Whichever controversy which may arise between the parties concerning validation, efficiency, interpretation and execution of the present contract and other agreements, will be defined and decided by an Administrative Arbitrator of the Arbirtates House and House of Commons in Venice of which all parties declare to have awareness and acceptance of.

-debit your credit card for the deposit amount of guarantee necessary to validate your reservation.
-Allow Hotel Selection to debit your credit card for any eventual penalty fees due to the cancellation or a No Show of a reservation. Such penalty fees vary depending on the cancellation policies for each structure, consultable at the time that your reservation is made.

INFORMATION GATHERED AUTOMATICALLY FROM YOUR COMPUTER.
Registration file/IP Address: when you visit the Site, our web server automatically stores your IP address. This is in no way linked to your personal information and is used exclusively in the administration of the Site.

We are however able to collect other non personal information (through which it is impossible to identify you directly) such as the name of your Internet navigator, with the sole purpose of providing a more efficient service.
